Parable Soft Designed and Developed a New Client Portal for PFG to Help Manage and Communicate with Hedge Fund Clients
Tampa, Florida June 4, 2009 -- ParableSoft, LLC, a web application development and website design company, and PFG, LLC partnered in October 2008 to develop a custom portal for PFG’s Investment Hedge Fund clients. When PFG came to ParableSoft, they wanted to accomplish two goals. One, to present all of the complex information and data in a user friendly way and two, create a portal for members of the hedge fund to go to gather relevant financial information, view their personal portfolio, and communicate company information in a secure environment.
ParableSoft approached this project in two phases. Phase 1 was the custom application development of the client portal and Phase 2 was the custom website design for the portal.
In Phase 1 our web application developer took PFG’s vision and turned it into a reality using encrypted files for secure viewing. The client portal now allows PFG to share company information, financial news and RSS feeds, and financial resources and links all in one highly secure client portal. Clients can also log on to view up to date portfolio information and paperless statements; one step PFG is taking to help make the world a Greener place.
In Phase 2 our website designer took PFG’s ideas and direction and created a very clean website design that gives a sense of relaxation. The design enhanced the functionality of the client portal so that the information was clearly laid out and easily accessible.
ParableSoft and PFG completed the 2-phased project in May of 2009. PFG now has a custom web application for their client portal that enables them to communicate company and industry news along with giving clients access to view their statements and portfolios securely online. The next phase of the project will consist of creating a complete Spanish version of their client portal.
